earl.jpgSamantha Cordon (alto, director): Samantha has been singing since she was scooped from her mother's womb. At Colgate University, Sami joined the Resolutions with whom she made beautiful and amazing music. After three years of singing with the Resos, she became their musical director, a move she has since decided never to make again. Now in NYC, Sam works by day for a nonprofit helping other nonprofits throw fun and successful events, and spends her free time being handy and engaging in shenanigans.

ash.jpgAshley Fochtman (alto, business manager): Raised in Michigan, Ashley heeded the words of clairvoyant yogi and imitated the distinct sound of the moose. Little did she know she would successfully parlay these skills into a rewarding career as a novice financier and accomplished a cappella singer. Ashley spent four fantastic years singing and dancing with the Harvard Opportunes. With her continuing quests for Justin Timberlake, fame and fortune, and the perfect appletini, will the NYC club scene ever fully recover?

carson.jpgCarson Hinners (baritone): Growing up in Fairfax, Va., a 9-month-old Carson made his stage debut as "the baby" in "Oklahoma!" An older Carson joined the Boston University Allegrettos before transferring to the University of Virginia, where he was a part of the Academical Village People group that in 1999 finished 2nd in the National Championships of A Capella at Carnegie Hall. In NYC, he sang with Ten & Change before joining the Heroes. An audio engineer, Carson DJs in clubs and lounges throughout the city.

george.jpgGeorge Konidaris (tenor II): When he isn't working as a banking ops manager or fighting crime in the naked city, George "Money" Konidaris rocks the mic with Unsung Heroes and delivers poppin' fresh saxophone licks and guitar riffs to his New York City band, The Misconceptions. One of the original members from the 1996 Unsung Heroes roster, George recorded lead vocals for Marc Cohn's "True Companion" and Sting's "Mad About You" with the Boston College Acoustics.

oliver.jpgOliver Libby (vocal percussion, tenor, music manager): Oliver's early music education ranged from piano lessons with his grandmother when he was 3 to subsequent classical cello and voice training. He spent four wonderful years as a founding member of the Harvard LowKeys and is an alumnus of the Boston vocal band East Side Story. When he's not trying his best to sound like a drumset for UH and his other NYC vocal band, Invisible Men, Oliver works as a consultant and enjoys walks in Central Park.

chris.jpgChris Serico (bass, publicity hound, webmaster): Chris still apologizes for singing Air Supply songs when he was 2. At Boston College, he spent four years with the Acoustics and three with the University Chorale. Between the two, he toured internationally, sang the national anthem opening day at Fenway Park, and performed with composer John Williams and country singer Kenny Rogers. A journalist by trade, Chris also discusses celebrities and pop culture on RNN-TV, and studies comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

jules.jpgJuliana Tarris (soprano, logistics coordinator): Through high school, Juliana was involved in musical theatre and band, but her choral performance at Carnegie Hall was a portent of things to come. At Boston College, she was quickly swallowed up by the Acoustics a cappella group, whose members shared a passion for music and were just as crazy and silly as she was! Her interests include karaoke, trivia, golf, world peace, drawing, movies, hiking, magazines, bladin' and long walks on the beach (haha).

jules.jpgWhitney Wood (mezzo): After a brief hiatus for her sold-out and critically acclaimed Whitney Wood World Tour, Alaska's pride and joy returns to New York City and the Heroes this fall for a second tour of duty! As a college student, Whitney performed with the Harvard LowKeys. In addition to being an international woman of mystery, she enjoys calling out bad poker bluffs, freestyling and rocking out.
